The PROGUARD SYSTEM® is a safety device which protects the rider's hands, avoids accidental breakage of the lever in the event of impact and reduces air pressure against the brake control even at high speed. Should the rider slide, this device ensures the brake lever system offers additional protection for the little finger. The outer part features a rounded shape, making it easy to remove the hand quickly in the event of a high side. An essential safety feature, the PROGUARD SYSTEM® is also a design feature.

  • Technical information

    The outer part of the Rizoma PROGUARD SYSTEM® is made of Delrin® and can be replaced. The handlebar attachment body is made of billet aluminum with Matt Black finishing.
    Combining these two materials with different physical properties improves the protective performance of the device further.
    The adapter is required to fit it. Check which adapter is suitable for the motorcycle model in question. The kit is supplied with: 1 x M6x40 screw UNI5931.
    On the left-hand side, we recommend the MA301B bar-end plug.

    Warning: the PROGUARD SYSTEM® Sport Edition does not fit in combination with the End Mount mirrors.
    Is not possible to mount PROGUARD SYSTEM® Sport Edition on the left side (to protect the clutch lever), because its ergonomics has been designed to be mounted on the right side only (therefore to protect the brake lever).

    Is it possible to mount PROGUARD SYSTEM® Sport Edition on the left side (to protect the clutch lever)?

    No, it is not possible because its ergonomics has been designed to be mounted on the right side only (therefore to protect the brake lever).

    Is PROGUARD SYSTEM® compatible with the End Mount mirrors?

    No, these two products are not compatible.

    Does Rizoma Proguard System® fit with OEM or Rizoma bar-end plug?

    No, Rizoma Proguard System® cannot be mounted in combination with OEM or Rizoma bar-end plug.
