PHILLIP ISLAND: SLIPPERY GP

Australian Grand Prix: the story of Sunday’s race was the practically non-existent grip that plagued the weekend.
This was confirmed by the numerous crashes that heavily influenced the race carrying 9 riders out of the final standings. Valentino Rossi showed to be always one of the best riders in these conditions and brought home a very important victory, taking also advantage of the fall of the world champion Marc Marquez.
The LCR rider Stefan Bradl, citing tire problems during all qualifying practices, managed to find a setting that guaranteed a good race pace. Starting from the eleventh place on the grid Stefan unfortunately failed to finish the race due to an error while he was trying to overtake Aleix Espargarò that took both out of the race with still eight laps to go.
